TCC is named a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense (CAE2Y) by the United States National Security Agency (NSA) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). TCC is the second largest of 23 colleges within the Virginia Community College System (VCCS), which is governed by the State Board for the community colleges.
