Me’s Burgers & Brews

We are a small, family owned (mother/daughter co-owners) that operates a literary themed, gourmet burger and craft beer restaurant. We change our menu quarterly but offer beef, chicken, tuna and locally raised bison and prime lamb burgers. We purchase as many of our products locally as we can – buns, honey, mushrooms, tomato jam, etc. We create a lot of our dishes in house like our soups, sauces, dressings & desserts. We have created some specialty items that you won’t find anywhere else like our signature sweet potato salad and our glazed doughnut bread pudding. All of our burgers are cooked to order.

Our beers and ciders are local, Virginia based or specialty craft beers that are on draft and rotate often. We also offer wines, cocktails, beers & ciders in cans and bottles. Our tap takeovers feature breweries like Blue Mountain, Foothills, South Street and others. You can also find us on Untappd.

We are located in the heart of the river district, a short walk from the trail-head that leads to the Dan River walking trails. We are located behind the JTI Fountain in a building that was built in the 1890’s. In season, we offer a small patio dining area and a beautiful view of the river and the sunsets in the evenings.
