Kibler Valley River Run

The Kibler Valley River Run is a 5-mile downriver race held annually on the head waters of the Dan River in Ararat, VA.  Classes I and II for both canoe and kayak.  Kibler Valley has an activity to match everyone’s interests whether guiding a kayak through the roaring whitewater or simply taking in the scenery of the Blue Ridge. Several hundred people gather along the headwaters of the Dan River for this event sponsored by the Red Bank Ruritan Club in Patrick County. The Kibler Valley River Run has been a Patrick County tradition for over 35 years.
