Every beer you drink at Ballad Brewing is the result of a recipe that our head brewer, John, developed from scratch. Like many beer professionals, he began his craft with homebrewing.

But, his background differs significantly from there. John is a former biologist with a PhD., and he brings his scientific expertise to every step in our brewing process.
